Highs Up to 47°C, Blowing Dust Expected in Some Areas: UAE Weather, August 12

The UAE remains under the influence of a surface low-pressure system with a weak extension of an upper-air low-pressure system. These conditions will contribute to warm, dry weather across most regions, with occasional cloud development and brief periods of stronger winds during the day. Weather Conditions Expect fair to partly cloudy skies throughout the day. By afternoon, clouds will appear mainly in the eastern areas and may develop into convective clouds, potentially bringing short-lived, localized weather changes. Winds will generally be light to moderate but may freshen during daytime hours, causing blowing dust in exposed areas and reducing visibility at times. Sea conditions will remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea, making it generally safe for marine activities, although caution is advised during periods of stronger winds. Temperature and Humidity Levels Coastal & Islands: Highs between 41°C and 45°C, lows between 31°C and 36°C. Humidity will range from 50–70% during the day and drop to 15–30% at night. Internal Areas: Highs between 42°C and 47°C, lows between 29°C and 35°C. Humidity will range from 45–65% in the day and 10–25% at night. Mountain Areas: Highs between 32°C and 37°C, lows between 24°C and 30°C. Humidity will range from 40–60% during the day and 15–35% overnight. Wind Forecast Coastal & Islands: Southeasterly to northwesterly winds at 10–25 km/h, reaching up to 35 km/h during the day. Internal Areas: Southeasterly to northwesterly winds at 10–25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h. Mountains: Southeasterly to northwesterly winds at 10–25 km/h, reaching up to 40 km/h. Key Takeaways for Today This weather outlook suggests that residents should take heat precautions, especially in inland areas, and be prepared for brief drops in visibility due to dust during peak wind hours.
